// services / schema-markup · SCHEMA

Schema is the cheapest, most underused lever in modern SEO.

Implementation of JSON-LD structured data across your stack — for classical rich results, for AI Overview eligibility, and for the entity recognition that LLMs use to decide who to cite.

WHAT IT IS

A focused project to implement, validate and document structured data across your stack — Organization, Article, FAQPage, HowTo, Product, BreadcrumbList, Person, Service — whatever your content types call for.

WHO IT'S FOR

Teams whose content doesn't get parsed correctly by Google or LLMs; sites with rich content but no structured data; engineering teams who want a single source of truth for schema.

OUTCOME

Validated, deployed JSON-LD across your stack — plus an SOP that keeps it correct as the site evolves.

01 Schema coverage audit
02 Type selection (Organization / Article / FAQ / HowTo / Product / Service / Person)
03 JSON-LD implementation (template + per-page)
04 Validation pipeline (CI-integrated where possible)
05 AEO entity markup (sameAs, knowsAbout, mainEntity)
06 Schema SOP + maintenance playbook

// process · how this engagement runs

Five steps. No theatre.

01

Audit

Inventory of current schema, content types, and what's eligible for rich results + AEO entity recognition.

02

Select types

Map each content type to the right schema vocabulary. No throwing every type at every page.

03

Implement

JSON-LD at the template level wherever possible. Per-page only where data is genuinely per-page.

04

Validate

Schema.org validator + Rich Results Test + a custom check in CI for regressions.

05

Document

A schema SOP your team uses for every new content type. Maintenance is automated.

// faq · frequently asked

The questions buyers actually ask.

01

What is schema markup?

Structured data (usually JSON-LD) embedded in your pages that tells search engines and LLMs exactly what your content is — an article, a product, a how-to, an organisation. It's how machines understand the meaning, not just the words.

02

Does schema markup actually help SEO?

Yes — for rich results (FAQ snippets, How-To, Product, Review), for eligibility for AI Overviews and SERP features, and for indexation efficiency on large sites. It rarely moves rankings directly but it shapes how your results appear and how often they're cited.

03

Does schema help AEO and GEO?

Yes — and this is underrated. LLMs use structured data to disambiguate entities (your company vs another with a similar name), to extract facts cleanly, and to understand relationships (Person → worksFor → Organization). Schema is foundational for AEO/GEO, not optional.

04

What schema types do I actually need?

For most businesses: Organization (or LocalBusiness), Person (for the founder/team), Article (for content), FAQPage (for Q&A blocks), and Service or Product (depending on your offer). I pick the right minimum set per content type — not the maximum.

05

Will this work on Webflow, WordPress or a headless stack?

Yes on all three. Webflow gets template-level JSON-LD in the head; WordPress gets a plugin-free implementation in the theme; headless stacks get a CMS-aware schema layer. The platform decides the technique, not the outcome.

06

Who owns the implementation after you leave?

You do. Schema lives in your codebase, validates in your CI, and is documented in an SOP your team uses for new content types. There's no vendor lock-in and no recurring fee — by design.
